Gloria Bonder

Gloria Bonder, M.A., is the Director of the Area "Gender, Society and Policies" in the Latin American Postgraduate Institute in Social Sciences, FLACSO. From this area she coordinates the UNESCO Chair on Women, Science and Technology in Latin America and the Virtual Master Program on Gender, Society and Policies. She has funded and managed several pioneer programs related to women and gender issues in academic institutions, governmental offices and NGOs. In several Latin American countries she has developed research on gender and education, science and technology, communication and young women in Latin America. In the last eight years, she has worked as a consultant on women, science and technology for many national and international organizations such as DAW - United Nations, Women and Development Unit – ECLAC, IDRC, and the Office of Science and Technology - OAS.
